JOB DETAILS
Location: Throughout the UK, usually starting and finishing in Kendal, Cumbria
Position type: Freelance
Working dates: April - September 2025
Available Roles: Site Crew, Site Crew Lead, Site Crew Deputy
Pay scale: £110 - £160 per day, depending on role and experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION - SITE CREW
We are looking to hire motivated, hard working people to join our Site Crew in 2025. You will act as a pivotal role in the operational delivery of the events for thousands of participants per year. This role requires a strong work ethic in a physically demanding role, with the reward of working in the most beautiful landscapes the UK has to offer.

The job will mainly focus on building a range of event infrastructure and Temporary Demountable Structures (TDS) such as marquees, gazebos, fencing – generally bringing our events to life by transforming empty fields into lively event centres and overnight camps. Once the main structures are built, your role will at times act as support to the wider event team.

You don’t need to be available for all of the below dates, just apply for the events you would like to work on. However having greater availability will strengthen your application.

During the events you will need to provide your own tented accommodation and you will camp on the event sites. Ourea Events will provide all meals whilst working away on an event.

  • Where required, complete a site handover to the Operations Manager(s) or Operations Director once all structures have been built, including completed sign off documents highlighting any problems.

  • Reporting any near miss and accidents in provided log books and reviewing these with the Operations Manager(s) or Operations Director after an occurrence.
